November Meeting Update

Hi everyone.

It turns out that both Fraser and myself are busy this week, so we’d like to reschedule for next week.

Wednesday 19th November, Rose & Crown at 6pm

Dan

November Meeting

Tis the season to be busy, so this month were going to have an informal chat, a pint, maybe a steak and ale pie, and share our first impressions of CS4.

We’ll be meeting in the Rose & Crown Pub on 4th Street SW (map) on Wednesday 12th November at 6pm.

Hope to see you there.

If you are not friends with me yet, feel free to add me. Meetings will be posted on facebook as well as on www.flashcalgary.org. Please join the facebook group so we know who plans on showing up at events. This will help us determine if we need reservations or a private room.

August Meeting - Gumbo related links

Hi all,

Sorry it’s been a bit of a rushed meeting this month, I’ve just got back from honeymoon and Fraser has the plague! I’ve put together some info about Gumbo, the code name for a new component skinning architecture to be rolled out with Flex 4 in 2009. This promises to improve workflow between designer and developer whilst also improving overall application performance.

Here’s some links to browse through, enjoy.
